The journey to the arch starts off as a gentle stroll through endemic fynbos, before quickly becoming a moderate ascent to the Red Gods who await your arrival.

Valley of the Red Gods.
The Red Gods stand sentinel over the valley, watching over those who approach, and dare to journey through the passages between them, onward to The Cracks.

The Cracks.
The space tightens, but stretches endlessly at the same time. Ancient rock formations weave overhead like forgotten highways.

To the arch.
Emerging from the cracks, a long stretch of sun-baked open terrain awaits. The arch in the distance feels both impossibly far, yet just within reach.

The Wolfberg Arch.
After hours of hiking, arrival at the arch is quieter than expected. Standing within it, it’s easy to forget the scale of the formation around you. Stepping back to a nearby vantage point, its true magnitude reveals itself—and how small you are in it.
